tempted by the fruit of another online quiz (an unsuccessful bout of "Which Indie band is your favorite" only to be confronted with the answer of Radiohead (all those indie records on Capitol, eh?)) I ventured onto OKCupid. I should have stayed at home (read: Facebook) but the chance to re-listen to Arcade Fire was just too sweet. Anyways.

There I was, hard at work dredging up YouTubes to fill in my patchy indie rock education due to being a Christian shut-in, and some dude IMs me. As my general rule is "ignore, ignore, ignore!," I ignored my general rule and answered him. Here is the result.

[10:33:37 pm]meggyok: there are a lot of different places a journalist could work, as i'm sure you're aware
