my boss turned me on to Google Define this week, and I’ve been using it constantly. I realized I kept going to google.com, then typing "define: " and the search term. There is an easier and faster way!
Here are a few videos so that you can see how it’s done. Supposedly it will be simpler in IE 8.
For Internet Explorer (which I use for work, since our tech is mostly IE-based):
How it works – http://screencast.com/t/gsaiSZsMqjo (Only about six seconds long)
How to add it – http://screencast.com/t/qsIHsGVB8WS (Only takes one minute to add to browser!)
For Firefox:
How it works – http://screencast.com/t/EeE12x5V4X (Takes four seconds to watch!)
How to add it – Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/396. Click "Add to Firefox," hit the "Accept and Install" button, and follow directions. When you restart Firefox, it will be in your right-click menu.

I use Google as a dictionary, encyclopedia, and translator quite often, too.
